tatement of faith:

A "statement of faith" of a church or organization tells you what they believe. When you visit a new church, you can ask for this. Most churches will have a copy to give you. Some are detailed and complicated. In keeping with the purpose of this site, we'll keep this easy. The founding author, and any other authors of this site, are Christians who believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant (without error) word of God. The Bible teaches, and we hold to be true, that we've been saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in the atoning sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who saved us from the penalty we deserved, by paying a debt that He didn't owe. GODeasy.com was created to clearly communicate God's message of the salvation offered to us in Jesus Christ.

Site history, purpose, and plans. 

Nearly ever since I came to faith I've felt led to create a website to glorify the Lord by explaining the gospel in a simple and clear way. Over the years I made a few half-hearted attempts but either didn't know how or was discouraged for one reason or another.  In July of 2008 it came into my mind again and I almost immediately dismissed the idea because there are so many great Christian websites out there. So I decided that if I could search the web and find the gospel of Jesus Christ in a straight forward easy to understand format, then there wasn't a need.

I made a list of the search words I could think of that somebody who was curious, or searching for answers about God, would use.  I visited each of the sites returned in the first page of search results. Overall I found that most of the resulting links did not have the gospel prominently displayed or easily findable from their main page.  There were a few sites with an excellent gospel presentation that was buried under a link in a very busy main page or only found with some serious digging. Still others had the gospel message but I felt that some of the words used would be difficult for one who wasn't familiar with a "biblical dialect". So I saw the clear need for a web site who's primary purpose is the simple telling of the gospel of Christ, which provides helpful articles and links to other Christian sites to help believers grow.  

A major goal of this site is the clear communication of the basic truths of the Bible.  This site is authored in the English language but automatic translation to other languages is installed.  On all of the main menu articles we will attempt to use words and sentences that can be translated easily by the automatic translators.  Since basic English words and simpler sentences have a higher success rate at translation, the main menu articles were written with this in mind.  You may find some sentences stated more simply than they should be and you may notice a near complete lack of english idioms in most of the main pages. This was done to acheive a better success rate with the automatic translators.  If you find passages that don't translate well, please send us the details.  We'll attempt to reword the passage to work with the automatic translators.

It is extremely important that what is said on this site is Biblically accurate. Please write us if you find errors.
